In 1989 I was involved in an accident that resulted in the prolapse of two discs and damage to a third. When I was taken to the casualty department in Alnwick Hospital I was advised that I may never walk again, as I had no feeling in either leg.

This prognosis, fortunatley was incorrect and the feeling returned to both legs overnight and I was walking again within a week. I was however in agony and unable to sit, stand or lie down for any length of time. Sleep and I had virtually parted company.

I spent the next 17 years in varying forms of suffering. Having received ineffectual treatment under the NHS I decided to seek out private professionals to see if I could secure a measure of relief.

To cut a long story short, I spent over £20,000 during the 15 years before hearing about Karen Ogle and her highly praised practice. I visited osteopaths, chiropracters, physiotherapists etc all to little or no avail.

I had virtually given up hope when I called on Karen. I knew as soon as I entered the practice that something was different. I felt, as I spoke to Karens husband Kevin - Practice manager, that the professional approach and the method of treatment was somehow elevated and definitely different.

I certainly wasnt dissapointed, within three sessions I was feeling better than I had in years. I found  Karens treatment combined with the exercises she provided, immediately began relieving the pain and constant discomfort. I was able to move more freely and pain was subsiding considerably with each visit.

I only require occassional maintenance sessions with the practice now and my discomfort is at an all time low. I am able to train properly with heavy weights again in the gym. More importantly Karen, with her incredible skills and profound knowledge gave me my life back to me. My only regret is that I didnt discover this practice sooner

I would like to thank both Karen and Kevin for the professional and friendly service I received from them. The physiotherapy treatment I received from Karen over the past 5 weeks has made a tremendous difference in my health and mobility since my car accident. I was comfortable with receiving electrotherapy treatment, however when karen suggested that I try acupuncture as a form of treatment I was sceptical and a little nervous about the benefits of someone sticking needles in me. I neednt of worried as the treatment wasnt painful and the benefits were that I felt immediate improvement in both my neck and back. I am now totally convinced about the benefits of acupuncture as a very effective form of physiotherapy treatment.
